Have Your Say on Staffordshire’s Future Transport Plan

Staffordshire County Council is inviting residents to help shape the county’s new Local Transport Plan (LTP) — the long-term strategy that will guide how people and goods move around the county in the years ahead.

The plan will look at how to:

• Manage and improve roads and congestion

• Develop cycleways and walking routes

• Support and improve public transport

• Encourage safe, healthy, and sustainable travel choices

• Protect Staffordshire’s natural environment while supporting growth

  

The County Council’s vision is to create a co-ordinated and efficient transport system that supports local com

munities, improves safety, and promotes healthier lifestyles.

🗓️ The consultation is open until Monday 27 October 2025, and everyone is encouraged to share their views — whether you travel by car, bike, bus, or on foot.
