Tutbury Parish Council is committed to making our community “emergency ready.” As guardians of five community defibrillators across Tutbury and Fauld, we have invited our Local First Responders to provide a free, hands-on training session for all residents.
Why It Matters
Only 10% of people who suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survive. However, knowing how to recognize an arrest, perform CPR, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can increase those odds to over 50%.
Burton Community First Responders will teach you how to save a life—whether it’s a loved one, a colleague, or a stranger. You will also learn how to use Bleed Kits, which are vital for controlling severe injury in the critical minutes before an ambulance arrives.
